Little Joe,
At what point do tax rates become disincentives to earning more? I have heard polls citing that the majority polled don't believe the rich pay their fair share in taxes and in the same poll the majority think the maximum tax rate should be 25%.(federal) This is an age old battle between what is perceived as greed (the rich) on one hand and envy (the poor)on the other. A pity that all of our elected officials do not have the wisdom of Solomon.
Hard choice but I would venture the loss of freedom of speech would curtail our freedom the most. It would be good bye to this thread!
