The prominence of the work was not under discussion. You did mean by it what I inferred. Politics and charity were introduced by me, and I explained why, and it was not strange and does not become strange by your stipulation.

I believe I brought up policy matters and their implications, and you declined to engage them except by postulating analogies. As you know, analogies are helpful insofar as they are exact, and obfuscatory insofar as they are not; so not engaging with them as their own topic, but sticking with the issue under discussion, is not called "not substantively addressing" points, it is called "sticking to the" point.
