I think with good instruction I could remove a gall bladder though!! It doesn't look THAT hard. Maybe you should try it with your own, first, for practice? Then if that was successful, we might let you do some of ours!

Everybody should try to get a bit of learning in different areas. One hopes one is never stranded at the bottom of a dead volcano with someone suffering from appendicitis, but--with the person's permission--I would remove it with my trusty jacknife. Of course, it would be sterilized by burning my clothing and such (not the ones reserved for bandages after a vodka soak). Certainly, I would allow a rational person to operate on me if the circumstances required it. I think I would need to make about a 5 inch incision, as I am untrained.
