Maybe you should try it with your own, first, for practice? Then if that was successful, we might let you do some of ours!

Everybody should try to get a bit of learning in different areas. One hopes one is never stranded at the bottom of a dead volcano with someone suffering from appendicitis, but--with the person's permission--I would remove it with my trusty jacknife. Of course, it would be sterilized by burning my clothing and such (not the ones reserved for bandages after a vodka soak).

Certainly, I would allow a rational person to operate on me if the circumstances required it. I think I would need to make about a 5 inch incision, as I am untrained.
