Greenspan does not support Bush's tax cut, but if he did support a tax cut it would be for the rich, but he is afraid that a tax cut would cause the budget to go into the red.

If you listened to the whole hearing, you would see that the Congressmen were making him crazy....both the dems and reps kept trying to get him to commit one way or the other re the tax cut.

The constant peppering of tax cut questions resulted in answers that increasingly were murky, vague and uncommitted. Frankly, I think Bush and his tax cut are giving AG a massive back ache...the kind where you want to bang your head against a table to relieve the pain in your back. I think you've been there on this thread. ;~))
