But it appears as if it won't stop them from trying. And the Rambus investors eat it up. Recently I pointed out that I did some circuit designs in the early '80s using 74cxx and 40xx series parts that used one of the techniques that Rambus later patented. Their only response was I should have applied for a patent then. Which is nonsense. I am not some hotshot logic designer, just a hacker, so if it occurred to me to do that it had to be more than obvious to "someone skilled in the profession".

Even if Rambus is not legally a scam, it sure is one ethically...
