One more thought. I dont believe the new, minority elected president or the 50% republican congress can tolerate a severe recession. Number 1, it would probably cost them control of congress in 2002. Number 2, it would put a quick end to the honeymoon. As far as it being clintons recession or greenspans, i wouldnt expect the american people to be that inciteful. You blame the guy in control, end of story. This again puts Bush, Congress and Greenspan in the same both with more or less the same objective of "no extended recession".
Has anyone picked up on the fact that it is Gephardts Lexus that is being driven to those anti-tax cut "muffler" parties the democrats are throwing? Just kidding.
The way Nasdaq has looked recently we should rename Greenspan, Redspan?
