PRESS RELEASE:Genzyme Transgenics, Atlantic Pharma In Pact Genzyme Transgenics And Atlantic Biopharmaceuticals To Collaborate On ABI.001 Production FRAMINGHAM, and CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Feb. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Genzyme Transgenics Corporation ("GTC") (Nasdaq: GZTC) and Atlantic BioPharmaceuticals, Inc. ("ABI") announced today that they have signed an agreement to produce Atlantic's recombinant human protein, ABI.001. Under this agreement, GTC will develop goats that express ABI.001 in their milk. ABI.001 is being studied under a United States Food and Drug Administration Investigational New Drug Application for use in treating Myasthenia Gravis.
