I presume many get the unit and find that they don't use the palmnet service enough to justify the cost. Remember that alot of "purchasers" get their palms from an employer or as a gift. I have bought (and got great deals on) several used palms from people in that boat. They just never had any motivation to learn how to use them. But I like my VII (for $150 <g>)and use the service as well. I just wish I could use it (safely) while driving! Can't have everything. sigh - rob
