Thank you for reminding me to revisit fundamental analysis and value investing.

Fundementals while it is accounting; it is really company direction(revenue growth) and performance(retained earnings growth). Companies are judged by the controls they put in. Cost and overhead spending controls in terms of percentages of revenue. Value investment is in the management team. The formulation of company direction and strong controllers to adjust spending daily.

Typical good company with good fundamentals can be illustrated by looking at Metrowest Bank MWBX. I started that thread some time ago. The stock is under valued because of lack of market makers' interests. Without some enthusiasm by market makers, the bank has not been discovered yet. So, I have to always put emphasis on the importance of good market making along with any investment technique.
