Don, quite the news. Mr Belluzzo who brought SGI from 5 billion to 1 billion or some such is now the man, air apparent to Mr Balmer. Well I see Mr. Bill our ex-pres going to the hood as their the folks will still look at him with puppy dog eyes. In a similar way I see Mr Belluzzo being rewarded as a person who looks at the Redmond Mr. Bill with puppy dog eyes.

To me Mr. Belluzzo demonstrated as leader of SGI not a wit of understanding of what SGI was and how it fit into the market place. Mr. Belluzzo 's success at HP may have been simply the being in the right place at the right time.

So I have thought that msft time was past for a long time and see this appointment as confirmation that the folks running msft may not have a plan.
