This is my point also. The market sees Greenspan too slow to react like he did recently. In order to get more investors' confidence in his forward thinking capabilities.....he will want to make a statement.
Too many people are now thinking AG is too slow and I feel is smart enough to recognize that and gain peoples' confidence again.

BTW---i remember back in January so many people showing up on CNBC and saying for example..."i think he will cut 25bps but he should do 50bps"
Greenspan knows that is the thinking out there...that he is too slow and that is the basis for my rate cut hypothesis near term.

My guess at a rate cut only applies if Naz stays weak OR he might do it even with a rising Nasdaq just to get that point accross to investors that they should take "risk" and not park too much in money market.
