Kymar,

I'm not so sure about the philosophy of sitting tight through price shocks. Sometimes they come back, but often they don't. Even when they do come back, they take so long that your capital often would be better utilized elsewhere. For a recent example of a shock that may take a while to retrace: the AAPL klunk at the end of September.
