OT - GLW (SEOD reply)

GLW's forward PE is 26. They are sold out for 2001. I would argue that if estimates for 2001 are guided down it won't be much. Estimates for 2002 are 1.71. Again they could be guided down - who knows. The fiber market is still growing at rapid rates last I heard. GLW has a dominant position in that market. LU is a distant #2 and they have plenty of problems (their debt was just downgraded as well). I don't think a PE of 30 is all the expensive for their market and dominance. If it bounces from here I'll sell 2/3 and hold the rest long term. I'm buying it mostly for a bounce play, but if I'm wrong I don't mind holding LT.

Maybe cheap wasn't the best word. How about reasonably priced with good DCB potential?

Long at 37.5 and 37.1.

Sold out for 2001

If they're adding capacity business can't be too bad.
