re: Can you cite some specific examples among the the GKI components? (Of lowered earnings expectations)

I believe at this time last year consensus earnings growth estimates for Intel for this fiscal year ending December, 01 was around 25% year over year earnings growth. Now consensus earnings estimates are for negative 25% year over year earnings growth.

I believe at this time last year, consensus estimates for Microsoft, for the fiscal year ending June, 01, was for 12 to 15% year over year earnings growth. Now consensus earnings estimates are for 5.68% year over year earnings growth.

I believe at this time last year, consensus estimates for Cisco, for this fiscal year ending July, 01 was for about 50% year over year earnings growth. Now consensus earnings estimates are for 31% year over year earnings growth ending fiscal year July, '01 and 22% for next fiscal year ending July, 02. (My memory is the least clear on what analyst's earnings projections for Cisco were a year ago for this year. Perhaps you can remember better than I. )

Best, Huey
