au contraire - this is precisely the time to be cutting taxes. The economy needs a tax cut. The only thing that will save our bacon now is either to 1) to grow the economy or 2) a) to drastically cut back the size of the federal government, or b) drastically cut social security and medicare - it will probably take both.. Liberals don't want to do either so they had better get the economy humming again.
