Cramer hasn't bought Intel but rather he was responding to the analyst's downgrade yesterday. I think in his rant, he was trying to make the analogy that the downgrade was akin to closing the barn door after the animals had all gotten out.....a trait he finds peculiar to analysts. Cramer is nothing but a momentum player.....his Harvard MBA rendered worthless now that he is playing the game of "What is Working Today?" He no longer has his hedge fund as of 12/31/00...and is a private investor like you or I except he has a lot more $$$....at least more than I do. His last year as a hedge fund manager was one of his best in spite of the Naz's problems, and his fund beat all the major indexes. Listen to him at your own risk......personally, I find more insight from people here on SI than anything I have ever read of his. I think good info can be had in many places including both TSC and SI. Just for the record, long before Cramer said anything, I have been down on Barrett. J. Fowler can attest to that. As a shareholder, I think Barrett needs to go. I believe he has done a poor job leading Intel in it's competition with AMD and I think Intel has made some bad acquisitions under his tenure that have cost a lot and to date, have shown little accretive value to the company's bottom line. I realize many on this thread disagree and that's fine. But I was surprised when Cramer shared my views.....and that's why I posted the article. Given, my past comments to John, I figured he would appreciate the article. ted
