If they don't have a concern for planetary interests Acting in self defense has nothing to do with moral code. That's hard wired in us, IMO. Perhaps my choice of words was misleading. By planetary interests I meant the rest of the planet acting in self defense. Although I think self defense is extra-moral, if you want to call acting in self defense an absolute moral right, I'd be prepared to reopen the discussion on whether or not there are moral absolutes.
