with the strong close on the naz, and the strength in after hours, i would expect a gap up in the morning, but i see that as a rally to sell into, with the dow failing at 11000 again, and the fed singnaling no mid meeting rate cuts, other than the fact the naz is oversold, what else is going to propel us higher? i would expect to see lower prices again soon, although this was a very good trading day, im turning everything pretty quick when i have a profit, locking in profit stops, not getting greedy, and trying to stay with the trend,
we are still locked in the downtrend-- for now

I was baffled by this afternoon's rally Bob.

I tend to agree with you that we are in a war between hedge funds & shorts versus fund managers picking up positions.

It's tough to make money trading in this market, real tough.
