you can spread out your buying and buy at $150 AND $100 AND $85 AND $55.

Exactly! And for those still in their saving years, my bet is that there will be many times to justify buying at $200 and $300, etc., etc. The irony is that there will be more people buying at the higher prices than the lower prices.
