Isn't it interesting how our generation, many of whom objected in one form or another to the Viet Nam war, now copes with our childrens' very different feelings about defense and the Armed Forces? I grew up thinking that all war as immoral as Viet Nam was, that all service in the armed forces was a horrible waste of life and talent. I've had to re-educate myself.

And yes, I'm getting a little more comfortable with "Mrs. So-and-so" these days. I don't like it when children call me by my first name. I tell them their choices are "Mrs. _____" or "Your Majesty". <g>
