Life isn't always clean, and it usually isn't totally fair to everybody. I'm just looking for something a bit fairer than the present system which lets a woman have all the power and leaves the man helpless.

Chris, I am a charter member of the feminist movement but that doesn't mean that I'd like to see men the victims of fraud or deceit. Other than that, though, I don't see any way to tip the balance more toward the man without doing more harm than good. There's simply no excuse for leaving a baby without financial support. Know your partner, guys, or keep it zipped.
