Get out, and get out now. However, if u are LTBH, then why the heck bring agony on yourself watching the screen every day, every hour, every minute? Makes no sense.>> Well, I'm both LTB&H and a swing trader, although I am doing much less trading now since my capital reserves have been so depleted.....as far as why I don't go to cash....one day....I dont know when, but one day, eventually things will turn....after the beating I took in technology, on the sidelines is not where I wish to be if and when technology starts to move again...whether it be tomorrow or 5 years from now. Additionaly, and to be frank, I am a tad more conservative then last year...taking less chances...the trades I make, I take my profit and run, or cut my losses to the minimum.....as far as selling out...well, no matter what I think, jdsu under $40, sunw $25, sndk $25, atml $15 and etc........They may all go lower, but I feel these should be bought at this level, not sold, IF you have a long term outlook. My whole beef right now is I have slowly been eliminating margin...the last dip and run I made a littelprofit and took it off the table.......I am down to about 20% now and very much want to lose the last of margin....to do this, I need a decent rally to 3000ish of thereabouts, so I can unload one or two things and lose margin once and for all...then use it only for swing trades. Funny thing is, because I dont want to extend margin past 20% I have not been doing as many trades for fear of further downside and margin madness setting in....however, the "paper trades" I have done would have done quite well, but I didnt do them for real because I didnt want to risk more margin if we go down...but I passed on a quick trade of ntap I was gonna pick up at 34....jdsu at 37 and several others that I wanted to buy for a quick trade but didnt....once margin is gone, then I can use it for that purpose, quick trades and thats it...no holding any margin for any appreciable amount of time.....thanks for your thoughts keith
