Here you go, regarding Amazon.com's distribution centers (and yes, I do own shares of AMZN): Hmmm..I hope not much. Anyhow, thank you for the reply. Does that information help you any? I always have this feeling I want to glean something from a bit of information. "McDonough, Georgia June 1999 -- Location is closing Campbellsville, Kentucky May 1999 Lexington, Kentucky October 2000" I am far for a specialist in distribution management. The closing of the Georgia center has been well publicized. I am wondering why they would have three DCs so geographically close to begin with. Glenn
