Isopatch,

I appreciate your concern. I come from a culture where the use of self deprecating humor is considered a sign of confidence. It sounds as if you (and a few others) take the comment at face value and assign it an opposite meaning.
When I comment that "I am too stupid to predict market direction", what I mean is that I do not have the time or inclination to delve into the intracacies of all that affects future markets, so I leave it to others.

In reality, I've been investing for about 8 years. I floundered for 4 or 5 years, relying solely on research and FA, since as an engineer I am drawn to numbers and facts. However, I began to use TA and understand market psychology a little better, and began to use short term trading with occasional shorting, to the point where I have soundly trounced the market averages the past three years, and I'm off to a nice start this year as well. However, I am not so overconfident to believe that I can quit my job and rely on trading for a living. It seems some on this board fall into that category.

So, enough about my confidence, or perceived lack of it. Any tech stocks to add to my list??
