Article is a primer on storage - NAS and SAN. It is non-positional. For the technically challenged like me I found it very informative.
It presents some interesting growth numbers for industry.
Good description (again for the technically challenged) of the pros and cons on each (NAS and SAN).
Talks about convergence - author even thinks we could see it by end of this year.

Latter point leads me to this question - if NAS and SAN do converge, is it going to be easier for NTAP to enter SAN market or EMC to enter NAS market? The answer to that question will say a lot about who the big $$$ winner will be.

Also, suggest reading the summary. One company that is not mentioned in the summary is conspicuous by its absnce. I wonder why it was not mentioned?
