Milo, When I left Compaq about 9 years ago, A-net was confidential Compaq IP. I don't know if any publications were ever made. Here is a link to the Project Manager: David Wooten is a Fellow at Compaq in the Commercial Desktop Division. His alternative title is "designated Intel antagonist". He is not sure of which of those two titles he is the more proud. Mostly, David has been dealing with life one bit at a time having spend most of the last 5 years working on either USB or 1394. inmos.com Scumbria
