Hi, Al: Vanquished?? I sincerely doubt it! Maybe down but never out is probably more like it. Count me in there as 'permabull' (some might be tempted to add the missing 's' word). As you say, a contrarian view is always needed to balance things out. In today's climate, a role-reversal is in order. The bears have the floor and the dissenters are clamoring to be heard. All very healthy in the long run, I think. As for AG, it's too late, he's already a legend in own mind and no amount of couch-riding or bumps on the noggin will remedy that illness. Maybe the 'Doctor of Ecomonics' should be required to take a refresher course in light of his advancing years, particularly in Keynesian theory. Regards, Wolf (vapid but never a gasbag)
