The fact that you now see him as just a professor now; not the titular head of the dems. proves my point. Professors at Columbia don't get interviews. Titular heads do.

I am more influenced that since the election and its aftermath, Al was shuffled off to teach and not given an influential position within the party. Clinton's pal McAuliff was put in charge of the DNC, and Hillary was pushed as the new candidate for 2004, while Bill got all of the influential speaking arrangements; not Al. Connect the dots.
