Harry,

You have no way of knowing if Bush takes drugs or alcohol.

There is strong evidence of illegal business dealings in the recent past as well.

Let's put W through 8 years of special prosecutors turning over every detail of his past. He would be gone in 6 months if it started.

Harry,

And just who created all of that bad publicity?

The Reps and the media.

The question is, do those flaws include criminal activity, or were laws broken. I can't see why you have a problem with that.

No laws have been broken and yet he is hounded....why is that?

<<<<<What's next? Laughing at people with drinking problems? Oh, no, can't do that.....then you guys would have to laugh at the current president.<<<<<

That statement is really brilliant. In the previous paragraph you claimed that the rep. have hounded this man because he is flawed. And yet here you are, hounding GW because he isn't perfect enough for you.

Please go back and read what I posted again. TIA.

Did GW have a drinking problem in the past? Yes. Did the public know about it during the election. Yes. Has GW stopped drinking. Yes, over 15 yrs ago. Is GW doing drugs now. No; Gw took a drug test several wks ago and made drug testing mandatory for employment at the White House. Did the public know GW may have done drugs in the past. Yes. Jay Leno mentioned it almost every night. Yet here we are, GW carried 30 states and the election; in spite of his past flaws. GW has proved with his drug tests and his actions that his past flaws are just that; in the past. Can you say the same of slick Willy?

Bush will always be an alcoholic; albeit, a recovering one. There is no known cure for alcoholism.

But what about Dubya being truth challenged? Has he reformed? Is he at least in a 12 step program somewhere? I realize that for a politician this isn't all that important, but...

Harry,

I'm so glad to hear that W is doing much better with his drug habits.

Now let's make him undergo interrogation under oath concerning his drug usage, as part of a six year long $100 million investigation concerning every aspect of his life, and see if we can catch him lying.

How do you think he will do?

Scumbria

Sorry, I forgot that we don't do that kind of thing in this country.

Do you have any understanding about why some of us are so angry?
