GV, True, but value stocks also went out of favor at just about the same time and fluff stocks came to the forefront. Of course, I would contend that you have to change with the times, but many of these guys have allowed themselves to be placed into some silly niche by the quant Nazis who think that mediocre performance is the ultimate goal. However, there may be some truth to a man's eye fading when he is no longer hungry when he picks stocks, too.
