Vermont is liable to be a very peaceful place regardless of this fact, but it certainly doesn't prove that laws are "the" answer. I think that so much of the gun fight is between people who look outside and see entirely different places. Wyoming is not New York City and NYC is not Wyoming. What makes sense in one place makes absolutely no sense in the other but people just can't put themselves in the other guy's place. Unfortunately, even if they could, the movement of goods from one place to another is just so fluid that we can't very well have two different sets of gun laws. Somebody has to give up something for the good of the whole. Not likely to happen. Karen
