Clinton had an enemy or two in Arkansas, but on the national level, he was not important enough for Republicans to go after in the 80s.......

Even George Bush had to admit that the rumors of the CLintons stripping AirForce 1 were false. Just another cheap shot. Or maybe it is true, and Bush is not interested in deepening divisions with the Dems after a very divisive election. Think that might be it? Because on the Rich matter, things look VERY suspicious and still Bush has backed off. The NY US Attorney has not, though, so there may still be hope.

Pat, we have seen what Clinton will do to cover up and protect his ass from ANYONE discovering the truth...he is no different from that two bit armed robber you cited earlier....but different is his approach. Instead of a gun he uses his law background and skills in cover-up and destruction of evidence so that all you have at the end of the day are unproven "allegations" (what do you think would have happened to Lewinsky if she didn't expose the dress? V. Fosterized perhaps?) In the end, those that can't see through it have been "vaselined" by a corrupt and self serving man. . .

President Bush did what a decent honest person does when he knows false accusations are being made against someone. Contrast with clinton who is he author of many false slanderous attacks on those who point out the truth of clintons past conduct. The Republican's have not been after Clinton since the 1980's. clinton has just conducted himself in ways that were despicable the last being the several last minute pardon's of scum with the clear appearance of quid pro quo.
