my view is that the producers simply used what they know best over the admin of the last 8 yrs and mimicked that to some degree...although my guess is that Clinton and staff pale in comparison to Sheen and staff, complements of a little Hollywood glitter.

Precisely my point! They want to make Clinton look good. Surely you won't deny the heavy leftward slant of Hollywood and the networks.

If Clinton and staff pale can you imagine how Bush and staff would compare....ie mornings spent being tutored on foreign policy, etc. by Powell and Cheney et al. Short single page summaries of all issues and crises, a 2 hr. break for a workout, photo-ops all afternoon, quit at 5:00, and in bed at 10 PM. This is the type of schedule he kept while Gov. This info came from an analysis (not mine) of his daily schedules and calendars that was published during the later stages of the recent campaign.
