Surprised no one is talking about Nortel and John Roth's comments .

NT doesn't expect US economic growth to resume until late 2001 . Many talking on TV has been discussing a Q3 turnaround , Ouch. So that will be blow number 2 tomorrow for the markets, the first one came last week when Greenspan gave a speech outlining that the US growth numbers were not as bad as originally thought which forced market gurus to cut back their expectations of another pre-meeting rate cut.

i wonder who will be correct come Xmas 2001 , Greenspan Q3 turnaround or NT's forecasted Q1 2002 pick up in growth <ggg>

Tomorrow should be ugly considering that Monday is a US trading holiday as well.
