P.S. Can anyone tell me how it is doing in after hours?

As of 6:07pm Ciena is down about $3.28 on about 166k shares. I think this is close to its AH low.

As I have already posted and not to beat a dead (or rather sickly) horse, one of NT's problems is Ciena!

You are looking at a short term chart.

I am looking at a 3-year daily chart. even though CIEN and NAZ will fluctuate from day to day, i see CIEN and COMPX going up over the next 3+/- weeks.

After hours the ask is around 85+/- so CIEN has dropped almost 9 points from its high of the day. Of course it dropped a little later than your afternoon prediction <ggg>.

Who knows tomorrow may be another down day also. I used to follow haurly, 30-min, 15-min and even 1-min charts. But found that it did not suit my personality since I could not act fast enough in getting and specially exiting. So I stick with the daily chart.

This time I was lucky in timing it perfectly. Normally I am always late in entering a position and early in exiting to be on the safe side.

FWIW, I can't believe people are still buying at these levels.

Guess tomorrow we test 68 and probably 64. Hope everyone here has no plans for their shares any time soon.

EDIT: I suppose there is always the comfort to know Greenspan is here to save the day. Anyone else smell another surprise rate cut? Doubt it will help any though. Might even turn out to be gasoline instead of water he throws on the fire.
