A friend of mine has family in the mortuary and cremation biz, and suggested STEI and SRV as stocks to take a look at. For some reason, today seemed like a good day to create the Deathcare Industry watchlist. Not that this is exactly a growth industry. Believe it or not, someone actually created a death care mutual fund - - Pauze, which created the Tombstone mutual fund in 1997 to invest in this industry, but had to shut it down last year. Caveat, any company that sells prepaid funeral plans is really an insurance company in drag.

Oh, and wouldn't ya know it, today my Deathcare portfolio is green. How's the ledge biz doing? :D
