Gee, weren't you ridiculing Pentium 4's performance on legacy apps? Guess how well those legacy apps will take advantage of CMP?

What do you think will happen first:

1) A simple recompile for Pentium 4 (which also improves performance on other platforms like Athlon) -OR-
2) A total overhaul which partitions an application into multiple threads?
