Bill, those are great questions and they are on my mind also. It seemed very unlikely that things changed so much between Jan. 24 ( the last guidance was issued ) and Feb. 15. My only interpretation is that Nortel has an incredibly bad process to collect sales numbers.

Bill, I think the real cratering is in wireless network infra and legacy phone switch business. Not to say that the "upstarts" in optical aren't hammering away, but the size of the miss is way beyond optical.

However, it does make you wonder if they have a clue as to what the f**k is going on.
