pw "Temporary files are just another waste of disk space" i think they may go beyond taking up space. i seem to recall a few problem/solution articles that list, "clear the contents of the temp folder" as a remedial step. :) mark

The deltree command was so powerful. Like we have been saying, image before you install that new software. I remember many software packages that say to back up data before installing. Because sh*t happens. You seem to have a role in tech support. I would hate to be a tech...continuos education thinge... with all the OS out there, mainly Windows, man how many still in operation?.....Windows 3.1/11, Windows 95, Windows 98/SE, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows ME, and now Windows XP. LOL What a ZOO.
