Allan: We shall see. At least I am properly positioned if the markets storm the battlements. (g) On a serious note, the degree to which ALL of my economic indicators are heading in the same direction and accelerating, has me more than concerned. Too many unsuspecting, very hard-working folk are going to be badly mauled over the next few months. By the way, I can't see many pros wanting to carry big inventories of stock over a three day weekend in THIS environment. Just as the evening news used to favour the bulls, now the after-market revelations tend to favour the bears. They may try to hold things together for option expiration, but they will also be yearning for a large shovel. If the opening isn't nasty, I intend to become a bit more aggressive. Best, Earlie
