I am new to digital photography. Only had this camera since Sept 2000.

I did buy a digital camera about 5 years ago, paid a pile of money for it and the pic quality was not very good. The software wasn't either, it kept crashing when trying to download photos from the camera. That experience turned me off digital photography until this fall, when I met the Cannon Elph...fell in love and bought it. Must have taken at least 4-5000 photos since Sept. since they are free, always carry the camera with me. I have bought a 48Meg CF card, should have bought a larger one, as 48 Megs only holds 72 photos at 1600 X 1200. (When they are free, the cards fill up fast)

Since I am into digital photography now, I am going to get a better camera in a year or so, something still small, but with higher res and a bigger lens.
