re: I am glad I cashed out most of my puts but was stupid to not cash them all out. Next time I will have a little more patience before I reload.

That's all that was required of re-establishing the Bull-Bear balance, and all that was asked of the last two trading sessions from the bull camp. A little exercise of caution on the part of the bear camp, and puff we are off to another two weeks of bullying. Mike, I agree with the principle behind your post 100%; namely, trade by chart, not by news. NT or no NT, AMAT or no AMAT makes no difference. Will I short the market tomorow? probably, just like I said previously, chances are we are going to re-test the bottom of yesterday in the next few days, but my humble opinion is that it will hold at another higher low, precisely because bears will cash out their shorts/puts moments before the low of yesterday is reached, frustrated bulls will have sold all they want to sell before that point is reached on the assumption that the market is heading lower; the rest will have to wait till the support level is breached, which will not happen for the time being because of bear covering as the pivot point is approaching.
