BGR, Bill Gross's comments are relevant in that the credit excesses have been a major driver of the economy & the mania. He does not have to worry about offending investment banking clients. Tough love in techland ho ho ho Mike

because he's proven to be a smart cookie?

just because he doesn't invest in equities himself doesn't mean he's clueless about equities. obviously a bond investor has to be aware of what happens in equity markets as both asset classes compete for investment dollars.

besides, the market's historic overvaluation is practically a guarantee of poor long term performance from here on out. the time to get back into the market at large will be when it represents VALUE once again....we're a loooong way from that.
