In NT's purchasing dept. (g)

Actually, a good "starting" source for all kinds of interesting info about a company is the 10-Q. 10-Qs can be down-loaded from Edgar. Edgar is slow, but if you go in during the evening, it is not too bad.

Many times, I just call a company's investor relations guy and ask for certain info. I am amazed at what they seem to be able to supply. "Fishing expeditions" frequently work. (g)
For serious info, I always try to talk to a company's engineers. They are always the best source of honest and accurate info. The worst source of accurate info is a company's CEO or CFO. The latter frequently doesn't know and the former will inevitably lie or fudge. (g)

Best, Earlie
