RIMM come back?
Where did it go?
Its PE is still 1000 or so.

RIM provides solutions for seamless access to time-sensitive information including e-mail, messaging, Internet and Intranet-based applications. RIM technology also enables a broad array of third party developers and manufacturers in North America and around the world to enhance their products and services with wireless connectivity. RIM's portfolio of products includes the RIM Wireless Handheld product line, the BlackBerry wireless email solution, wireless personal computer card adapters, embedded radio modems and software development tools.

Wireless Email, PC adaptors?

For the nine months ended 11/30/00, revenues increased from $59.2 million to $131.2 million. Net income decrease 96% to $260 thousand. Revenues benefitted from continued subscriber growth. Earnings were offset by increased marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, staff additions and higher research and development expenses.

Net income a decrease of 96%. Why the heck is this stock still trading at a PE of over 1000? Earnings offset by marketing expenses! (To the tune of 96%?!) ROTFLMAO. They market that hard and still can not get anyone to buy thses suckers.

I am so so so sick that last year I wasted all this time believing "stories" and staying fully invested in RMBS, SSTI, etc etc etc, pissing away all my gains when I could have been shorting AMZN, RIMM, ASKJ (Ask Jeeves) and the rest of the dot.com mania like PETS.COM.

We could all have made 1000% easy last year shorting or buying puts on these stories.

As for EMC, competition and reduced margins would scare the begeebies out of me at its PE. PEG is 2.36
I do not think that is a good number in this environment.
