County hospitals all over the country write off millions every year for those that cannot pay. Of course they try to make them for a little while, but most do not. I would gladly pay 20.00 month for the rest of MY life for an operation, how about you?

As far as that goes, there are all kinds of folks smarter than me to worry about healthcare, I am just waiting for the PBA bill to come out again. (Actually I am not waiting, I am writing weekly). He will sign it this year, I think.

That and some good USSC Justices will make me happy.

Why should he not pay $20 a month? Again, if he is indigent, he can get Medicaid. Otherwise, those are easy terms......Sounds to me that he is in pretty good shape, being near the 50 needed. He may have to compromise to pick up the 1 to 3 votes necessary, but that is politics......

flap,

I have hit the "E" room several times in my life without health insurance.
I paid off the bill every time. Why should anyone else get a free ride?
I paid up. You should too. So should Mr. Gallstone.

ps Smart people get health insurance.
