Jay,interesting read. I wonder what Psinet's strategy will be. I really can't imagine earnings will be positive. This is not frustration talking, just simple logic. Look at everyone this past quarter. Everyone has had something bad to say, from the host of smaller,weaker companies who are all filing ch. 11, to the bigger "blue chips" who are projecting 0 or negative growth for 2001. So assuming this, should PSIX preannounce and break the news now so that when they actually report they can save the good news till then(will there be good news?) If there is good news to spread around our merry camp,will it be enough to effectively diffuse the 'earnings bad news.' Am i way off in my thinking? Maybe earnings will surprise us. Maybe we'll have nothing but good news and positive projections. Again,nothing to do but wait and see.(seems like we've been waiting for months.....hey wait a sec!.we have !!!!) regards, cg
