I've wondered about that myself. Why is it, aside from appeal to celebrity, that the media solicits political and ethical opinions from musicians or movie stars? I think it a bit ridiculous that there is the assumption of great insight in the successful. Frankly, some of the most blatantly stupid things Ive ever heard came from celebrities.
