hcirteg: For laughs I decided to go back to the November-December 1999 period when VLNC was in and around $10 to see what [aside from the madness that consumed the NASDAQ]caused the takeoff to $40. The first and only message I accessed (16018, Nov 12, 99) was yours. Optimistic as ever, you noted, inter alia, "my sources at NI say things are VERY very busy over there." I stopped what I was doing, realizing, 'plus ca change..., the more things change, the more they remain the same.
This is not a criticism of you or your reporting. Rather, despite the adulation so often lavished on Lev, (1)those who once believed in, (2) those who believe in, and (3) those who never believed in VLNC must invevitably be struck by the fact that the company is run by a pack of thickskinned stumble-bums. It is the promise of a startlingly new technology that drives interest in VLNC, yet, once again, the company gave us an amorphous conference call that provided few answers and raised a mountain of questions.
