Here's reality for the bulls (among which I prefer to be counted, but don't know if my attitude toward conserving my money can handle bullishness at this time)....

Total PE of S&P 500 is still wayyyyyy too high to be realistic. More downside to come, I think, before everyone is comfortable. The last bear market involved a much lower PE.

If you enjoy owning stocks priced too high, buy and hold. If you don't, be careful.
